PERSONAL SHIPMENTS

Personal Shipment packages should be shipped to the same warehouse as last time, the address is on the website. The dates for package delivery are still being determined but will be around mid June to early July. Please check the website for exact days.

As a reminder, ACBC ensures the CONTAINERS against loss/damage with SEAFREIGHT insurance. This insurance DOES NOT cover loss of packages by the warehouse prior to loading and sealing the containers. The warehouse we use to receive personal shipments is a large commercial warehouse. They are reputable companies but not guaranteed to be free from mistakes. We had one (1) package get lost last shipment. It was shipped to the old warehouse days before the warehouse was changed to the current address. Of the 5 packages sent to the old address, it was the only one not to be correctly forwarded to the new address. Of the 200+ personal packages we have shipped to date, it is the only lost item. Although Agritech is not obliged to cover the cost of the lost item, they did in this case. You, the contractor, assume all risk in shipping packages through ACBC.

FINANCES

When we started using Agritech as our supplier, they offered many helpful services, one of which was placing labels on the boxes. They charge $45 per customer for this service. Based on past experience I determined it was well worth the extra cost, and I still think it is. I have tried to cover this cost in the overhead rate, but each order has not covered the added expense. As a result, in addition to the overhead rate, I will be charging an additional $45 per order.

Previously, order size was limited to $2000. As of this order, there will be NO ORDER SIZE LIMIT. Smaller orders are welcome to combine their orders, but they will be shipped to one address only.

Finally, personal shipment rates are going to increase. Please check the rate schedule on the website. I realized that I am giving the shipping away. I have to cover costs or it doesn’t work for anyone.

Please forward me any comments or suggestions,

Ken
